Right Nostril Breathing is an energising pranayama meditation to bring you energy, mental focus, and enthusiasm. Use the left hand to gently close off the left nostril to breathe primarily from the right nostril. The right nostril breathing brings in the energy of Surya / the sun energy. This energy channel relates to the Nadi channel of "Pingala" which is guided by the left hemisphere of the brain and right side of the body. It is a warming and energising breath to build the prana in your body. It is a great meditation to do in the morning to give you energy and mental clarity for the day.
