Meditation is an extremely powerful tool that is often overlooked as a method of healing. When creating a healthy body and mind it is so common to focus all your energy on physical practices, whether that's weight-lifting, running or yoga postures (asana) but the true power comes through meditation. More and more research is showing that meditation has profound physiological benefits and can have a significant impact on both your physical and mental health. Meditation has been proven to reduce stress and anxiety, release calming hormones, heighten memory, improve sleep quality, lower blood pressure, reduce chronic pain, and improve overall health & wellbeing. All for just 10 - 20 minutes of your day!

This Meditation as Medicine Series takes you through specific meditation techniques to bring energy to specific organs, glands, and systems in the body. Meditation is so much more than just relaxation but has the power to bring healing to the physical and ethereal body. These Medical Meditations will focus on breathing patterns, specific movements, mantras / sound vibrations, and mental focus.
